After Spitzer’s secret broke, there has been a flurry of activity on the internets concerning the subject of high class callgirls. The Washington Post (or ‘WaPo’ as insiders call it, I was recently informed) published the linked article today, as if its contents are new and fascinating. High priced callgirls?!? Hookers that are beautiful, smart, AND discreet! No way!
Seriously? Am I the only one who knows anything about prostitution? Has no one read the Diaries of any of the 20th centuries most illustrious courtesans? If not, see my Belle de Jour entry a few months ago; it’s a start. As for the rest of you, stop pretending to be shocked. Anyone knows that something is worth only what someone else will pay for it. And plenty of men will gladly shell out that kind of cash to surround themselves with all the comforts of the elite.
What impressed me was that Emperor’s Club booked over 50 girls nationwide. That’s organization. They lie about their ages though: “Kristen” hasn’t been 24 since…well, long before this Kristen was 24.
